No 1 Smaller Canvas

This is a favourite ~ I had been observing the variation of Mosses & Lichens! Generally tied together by greenish hues in the Moss like a bejewelled veil of lace or map of stars – Boundary lines are artfully definite.

It so impressed me when I saw the gold bearing rivers flowing dark, deep with unexpected colours bordered by rock or lush green vegetation. The composition is inspired in part by the arbitary abstract placement of elements juxtaposed in Nature.

No. 2 Square large

This was the first painting I created as I discovered the West Coast + areas between Hobart and Zeehan.

I literally had cut huge chunks f moss & ground covering plants from the forest floor and I transplanted them into my new Zeehan garden. (The garden still exists minus several plants…)

A gorgeous invibing patchwork quilt.  More beautiful than any I could create.
I imagined a large field of detail and color, placed on the canvas from a birds eye. Like a wandering map.

This painting was a like a celebration of life, Spring.

No.3 Large rectangle – Pink flowers

As Spring slowly appeared ahead announced by colourful displays of Boronia Bell like flowers that accented the endless, variations of lush green.

Shameless pink now punctuates
